How much customer input is required as part of the migration process?
Arkivum have built the migration process to require as little customer input as possible, while also maintaining oversight. There will be some requirements on the customers (for example to check/sign off work) but Arkivum will be doing the vast majority of the work.
How long does the data migration process take?
The Arkivum migration service has been designed to require minimal input from customers, while also maintaining high levels of quality. Our team of experienced migration experts can work with flexible timelines to meet customer requirements.
Does Arkivum check the data as part of the migration process?
Yes, Arkivum quality checks all data before ingest into the archive. This includes both checking that datasets match back to dataset inventories/metadata files and that all the files are healthy before uploading to the archive.
Can Arkivum prepare our metadata for us as part of the migration process?
Yes, Arkivum conducts a mapping process as part of the migration service which prepares the metadata before ingest. Where metadata is missing, we can work with the customer to fill any gaps.
Will Arkivum engage with external stakeholders during the migration process?
Yes, Arkivum will engage with both internal and external stakeholders (where relevant) to deliver the migration service.
Will we be trained to migrate data into the system ourselves?
During the onboarding process, Arkivum will train staff on how to upload and ingest data into the system. The migration service has been designed for organisations who would like additional support to migrate their data into the archive.
Can you migrate directly from a sponsor’s eTMF system into Arkivum?
Arkivum is experienced at working with a range of different eTMF and eClinical solutions. Where direct integrations do not exist, we can work with you as part of the migration service to extract and prepare your data for the archive, regardless of the source system.
Do you work directly with CROs?
Yes, Arkivum typically works directly with CROs as part of our migration service. Depending on the arrangement, Arkivum can work directly with your CRO partners to receive end-of-study data. As part of that process, we also quality-check all records to ensure completeness and accuracy of the files and records.
