Reading, Berkshire – 12 June 2018 – Arkivum, the trusted software and service partner for long-term data lifecycle management and digital preservation is proud to announce that we have renewed our certification for the ISO 27001:2017 Standard in Information Security Management (previously ISO27001:2013).
Arkivum takes information security seriously for all of our staff and clients; information security is at the heart of what we do and forms an important part of our company ethos. Compliance is of utmost importance to safeguarding our clients’ valuable data assets, you can read more about the standard on the ISO website, here.
Previously attaining the ISO 27001:2013 the new certification incorporates all of the elements included in the previous standard whilst adding further requirements and including European information.
By Arkivum continuing to be ISO27001 certified, staff, clients and prospective clients alike can be confident that both Arkivum software (which is built to the same standard) and processes comply to strict and audited Information management regulations.
Scheduled internal audits
In addition to the six-monthly audits by Certification Europe, Arkivum is regularly audited by its prospects, customers and partners. We regularly perform scheduled internal audits on all aspects of Information Security Management System (ISMS); including audits of key suppliers. In particular all data centres and tape storage providers are audited by Arkivum as part of the selection process and then re-audited every two years.
Guy Yaniv, CEO of Arkivum, comments:
